Testing Frequency
Annual PCREE electrical testing is the NFPA 99 minimum for electric beds, with pre-use testing for new beds and post-repair testing after any electrical service. Mechanical PM — motor function, side rail operation, frame integrity — typically follows a similar annual cadence but is tracked as a separate maintenance record from the PCREE electrical test.
